(November 19, 2025) Albion, NE – Boone County Health Center has announced the launch of its Behavioral Health Financial Assistance Fund, a new initiative designed to make mental health care more accessible to those in need across the service area.

“The heart of our team’s mission is to remove barriers to mental health care. We recognize the incredible courage it takes for individuals to seek help, and we never want financial concerns to stand in the way,” said Kayla Baker, Mental Health Director at Boone County Health Center. “For years, we have been dedicated to finding innovative and meaningful ways to support our clients, and this fund is the direct result of that commitment.”

The fund was created to remove financial barriers and expand access to essential behavioral health services within BCHC’s service area. Every dollar donated stays local—helping individuals and families in surrounding communities receive the support they need.

The Behavioral Health Financial Assistance Fund represents BCHC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening communities through compassionate, accessible care. Donations can be made through the Boone County Health Center Foundation to directly support local patients in need of behavioral health services.
