Albion, NE (January 28, 2025) – Boone County Health Center (BCHC) is proud to announce that Keri Carraher, RN, Home Health Director, has been elected as a Director at Large on the Nebraska Home Care Association (NHCA) Board of Directors.

Keri, who earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) and her Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), has dedicated 20 years to BCHC. Throughout her tenure, she has served in a variety of nursing roles including hospital nursing, OB, wound care—where she is also Wound Care Certified (WCC)—and for the past ten years, home health. Her extensive experience and long-standing commitment to patient-centered care make her a strong representative for both BCHC and home health providers across Nebraska.

Serving on the NHCA Board is a meaningful and influential role. Board members help guide the association’s mission, advocate for high-quality home health and hospice services, and provide a unified voice for providers statewide. In this position, Keri will collaborate with leaders from across the home care continuum, help shape policies and educational initiatives, and contribute to strategic priorities that directly impact agencies, clinicians, and patients.

Keri’s election brings added credibility not only to her leadership but also to Boone County Health Center’s Home Health program. Her appointment reflects BCHC’s ongoing commitment to excellence, advocacy, and leadership in healthcare—both locally and across the state.

BCHC congratulates Keri on this well-deserved appointment and looks forward to the positive impact her service will have on home-based care in Nebraska.
