Albion, NE (February 18, 2026) —Bomgaars in Albion recently hosted its festive and fun “Ladies Night,” bringing the community together for an evening of fall shopping while raising awareness for women’s health. The Albion store partnered with Boone County Health Center to support local cancer care services.

From 5 to 8 p.m., Bomgaars offered a 20% discount to all ladies in attendance. Thanks to strong community participation, 5% of the evening’s sales were donated, resulting in a $761.50 contribution to the Boone County Health Center Foundation Cancer Care Fund.

“We are so grateful to Bomgaars and everyone who came out to support this special event,” said Sarah Grape, BCHC Foundation Director. “This generous donation helps ensure that local patients facing cancer can access the care and support they need close to home. Community partnerships like this truly make a difference.”

The Ladies Night initiative extended beyond Albion. Across the 184 Bomgaars locations that participated, a total of $127,978.38 was donated to healthcare organizations in the communities they serve.
