BCHC Named a Top Recommended Hospital

Albion, NE – January 8, 2025 – Boone County Health Center (BCHC) has been named one of Nebraska’s top hospitals for patient recommendations, receiving a five-star rating based on the latest Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This prestigious recognition underscores the Center’s commitment to exceptional patient care and community trust.
The five-star rating is determined by patients’ responses to the question, “Would you recommend this hospital to your friends and family?” BCHC’s inclusion in this elite group highlights its dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare that patients feel confident recommending to others.
The star ratings are based on data collected from hospital patients during 2023 and released by CMS on October 30, 2024. To be eligible for this rating, hospitals must have at least 100 completed HCAHPS surveys in a fourth-quarter period. Boone County Health Center is one of only 13 hospitals in Nebraska to achieve this distinction, sharing the honor with other esteemed institutions such as Bryan Medical Center in Lincoln, Kearney Regional Medical Center, and The Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha.
