
Boone County Hospital Achieves 5-Star Cleanliness Rating

Albion, NE (May 18, 2026) – Boone County Health Center has been named among a select group of hospitals across the United States earning a 5-star cleanliness rating, according to recent data compiled from CMS’ Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) patient survey.
The CMS ratings are based on standardized patient experience surveys completed during inpatient stays, reflecting feedback collected between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025. The data, updated May 13, was analyzed in a Becker’s Healthcare review highlighting hospitals that achieved top marks for cleanliness nationwide.
In 2025, 374 hospitals received a five-star cleanliness rating across the country, with 22 additional hospitals newly added to the list this year. Texas led all states with 36 recognized hospitals, while Wisconsin followed with 30. Boone County Health Center’s inclusion in this group underscores its continued commitment to providing a clean, safe, and high-quality care environment for patients.
