Albion, NE (January 7, 2025) –Boone County Health Center is proud to recognize Dr. Nicole Kramer, who was recently honored with the Early Career Alumni Award from Bryan College of Health Sciences. The award was presented during Bryan’s December commencement ceremony and recognizes alumni who have demonstrated early professional achievement and a commitment to service.

Dr. Kramer graduated from Bryan College of Health Sciences in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine in 2024 and is currently completing her residency through the UNMC Family Medicine Rural Training Track in Grand Island, Nebraska. Dr. Kramer is the first physician to complete undergraduate training through Bryan’s Biomedical Sciences program, which was established in 2013.

In her acceptance remarks, Dr. Kramer noted that healthcare is “a profession built on service” and emphasized the importance of compassion and recognizing the humanity behind every patient encounter—values that align closely with Boone County Health Center’s mission of patient-centered care.

Dr. Kramer maintains strong ties to Bryan College of Health Sciences through its professional mentoring program and currently serves as a resident board member of the Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians, where she advocates for the future of primary care in Nebraska.

Boone County Health Center congratulates Dr. Kramer on this recognition and looks forward to welcoming her to the medical staff in Fall 2027.
