Pharmacist Added at Health Center

The Boone County Health Center Pharmacy is growing with the recent addition of Pharmacist Christine Zentner, PharmD to the staff.

Zentner grew up in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska. She completed her prerequisites at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and earned a Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

“I am excited for the opportunity to move back and give back to my hometown and the surrounding area via patient care,” said Zentner.

With the addition of Zentner, the Boone County Health Center Pharmacy now has four pharmacists, each having a Doctor of Pharmacy. Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and Pharmacists work closely as a team to offer excellent patient care.

Zentner is engaged to Lee Watts and makes her home in Cedar Rapids. In her spare time she enjoys golfing, playing with her dog and spending time outside.
