Biography

Before stepping into her role as an APRN, Tara devoted 17 years to Boone County Health Center, serving in a variety of capacities across the hospital. Her experience spans the medical-surgical floor, labor and delivery, and the emergency department. She’s also held leadership roles as Infection Preventionist Nurse, Emergency Department Manager, and Trauma Coordinator. With a strong foundation in acute care and a deep commitment to patient well-being, Tara was inspired to advance her career by becoming a Nurse Practitioner.

Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her kids at their activities, and unwinding at the family cabin—boating, fishing, and soaking in the outdoors. She’s also passionate about cooking, gardening, and running.
