ALBION, Nebraska (February 15, 2023) –Beginning February 15, Boone County Health Center‘s main entrance on the east side of the facility will be closed due to renovation. The temporary Emergency Room (ER) entrance will still be on the east side (just to the left of the closed hospital entrance) relocated next to the ambulance bay. The temporary ER entrance is labeled and open at all hours for emergencies. Once inside there will be a button to push and a nurse will quickly come to assist. It is helpful when patients call and let the hospital know they are coming for an emergency.
Those coming to visit someone in the hospital are asked to enter through the new entrance on the south side of campus. Those doors will be open from 7 AM to 9 PM every day. Laboratory and radiology patients should also enter through the south entrance. The ER doors will only be used for ER situations.
“This is a critical part of the renovation process and we apologize for any inconvenience. This phase is expected to last approximately four to five months,” said Tanya Sharp, CEO.
