New Weight Management Program Offered at BCHC

ALBION, Nebraska (March 15, 2023) – Boone County Health Center (BCHC) now offers Live Well, a weight management program.

The program encourages building healthy habits to support a healthier you. It encompasses several healthy living areas, such as weight management, fitness, and food choices.

The class costs just $25 and will be held weekly for four weeks. It will be held on Thursdays beginning April 13 and running through May 4. Class time will be from 4:30-5:30 pm.

“We understand change is hard, and that is exactly why we are offering this class,” said Stephanie Scott, BCHC Registered Dietician. The program will provide the tools and guidance needed to make lasting changes.

You must be 18 years of age or older to utilize this program. Specific requirements are needed to qualify, such as a BMI of 30 or over or a health risk like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart disease.
