Endocrinology Clinic Now Offered at BCHC

Boone County Health Center is extending specialty clinic services with a new Endocrinology Specialty Clinic starting October 27th.

This clinic will offer diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the glands and organs that make hormones which may include adrenal disorders, diabetes, osteoporosis, thyroid and parathyroid cancers and disorders, and pituitary disorders.

Dr. Kaitlin G. Brau will see patients on the second Tuesday of the month and Dr. Al Zaghal will see patients the fourth Tuesday of the month.

Dr. Brau is board certified in internal medicine, endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. She studied at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson Missouri and did her internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Dr. Al Zaghal is board certified in internal medicine, endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism as well. She went to medical school at Punjab University, Lahore, Pakistan and completed her graduate training at The Islamic Hospital and The Specialty Hospital, Amman, Jordan. Dr. Al Zaghal did her internal medicine residency at the University of Arizona Medical Center, Tucson and her fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the George Washington University, Washington, D.C.

Both specialists will work closely with primary care providers and other specialists to offer the best patient-centered care at Boone County Health Center.
